OBJECTIVES
- To contribute a variety of skills developed as a result of
education, service and employment in the fields of education, youth
violence prevention and library work to part-time work that will
supplement and compliment what I currently do.
-
As a teacher/mentor of young people, one
important objective is to connect them with others in the
world through learning, technology and service projects that create a
personal connection to education. As students become fluent
with technology and culture through service activities, they also
engage in
authentic, standards-based, learning activities. This naturally
enhances literacy, academic ability, civic responsibility and
tolerance for all who participate.
