Batch File Format

          

The batch file allows the user to run FEMGV off-line from a previously prepared file of FEMGV commands.

The following symbols have special meaning when placed as the first character(s) on a line of this batch command file.

@ - switches control to on-line input of commands.

@ filename - switches control to another named batch file.

! - indicates that the line is a comment which will be displayed on the screen

@# (n) - pauses execution for the `n' seconds. If `n' is not specified the default is 5 seconds. (Not available on all computers).

Note that control can be passed from within one batch file to another batch file but that only one batch file is kept open at a time. Consequently, on completion of a batch file called from within another batch file, control will be returned to the keyboard.
