Materials

No restrictions are placed on the use of models with more than one material. The interface transfers the ANSYS material ID to the appropriate elements in FEMVIEW allowing the user to distinguish between different materials in the model, however the material constant information will be lost.

If the model topology is transferred directly from FEMGEN to FEMVIEW (if the FEMGV program is being used), the analysis results from the ANSYS result file can be appended directly to the model using the interface program.
