Changes to FEMGV 6

No modification is necessary, for an existing interface program written for FEMGV 5, to run with FEMGV 6. However, if the interface program is to support the new features of FEMGV 6, the necessary changes are described below.

New Routines

The following routines are new to FEMGV 6:

UANTYP Get current analysis type name if any.
UEFACE Get face identifier of an element adjacent to a loaded part.

Note: Routine UANTYP relies on the analysis types being defined in the 'userAN' routine of the interface program, see Chapter 3.

Discontinued Routines

The following routines will continue to be supported but will no longer be documented:

ULOAD3
ULOADE
UICOND
UPHYS3

Replacement Routines

The following routines may be used instead of the discontinued routines above:

UFACG2
ULOAD4
ULODE2
