I've never danced before, is that okay?

Almost no one on the team has danced before joining ballroom. The overwhelming majority of the club started ballroom at Princeton.

I don't have a partner! What should I do?

People rarely join the team with a partner. Instead, newcomers usually get to know one another, and then pick a partner who wants a similar practice schedule.

Do I need special shoes?

Newcomers can get by with just socks at the lessons and practices, although proper technique is far easier to execute with the proper shoes. If you do decide to compete, we may be able to provide shoes to you!

How much time does ballroom take?

You put in as much or as little time as you want, although if you practice with a partner, you'll obviously want to figure something out between the two of you.
