Frequently Asked Questions

1. Who operates Prospect House?
Restaurant Associates provides food service on behalf of the University for Prospect House and
four other locations on campus – Palmer House, EQuad Café, Genomics Café and Café 701.
We are part of the Princeton University Campus Dining team.

2. Can Prospect House cater in other locations?
Yes, Prospect House is able to cater in many locations on and off campus for official University
events paid with a chart string account.  We have catered in over 40 locations on and off campus.

3. I am looking for menu options that I don’t see on the website. Do you customize menus?
Yes, we customize menus for over 10% of our events per year.  Please ask your catering
representative for options; we are always happy to get creative.  It is best to share your
budget so we can effectively create something wonderful.

4. What if I have a limited budget for catering?
Great, it is often times best to share your budget up front so we can properly serve you.
Events held at Prospect and Palmer Houses will include house linens, tables & chairs, AC
and heat.

5. We are hosting an upscale event. Can you help us with a specific cuisine? Can we also
change the look of the rooms?

We are happy to work with you to create your special event, coordinate the menu and
rentals and provide vendor suggestions.
