Frequently Asked Questions

10. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
We are happy to accommodate your guest(s) the best we can. While we have best practices
in place to avoid cross-contamination, we do prepare all of our food in the same kitchen and
with the same equipment. Please discuss in detail your needs with your catering representative.

Kosher requests can be accommodated during the academic year for breakfast, lunch and
dinner with at least 48 hours notice Monday–Friday. Kosher meals are not available during
June, July and August.

11. What if I need media or A/V equipment?
Prospect and Palmer Houses are not equipped with any media equipment. For University
Department events, please contact Media Services. Outside groups must work with an
outside vendor. We are happy to provide suggestions.

12. Can student groups host events?
Students can host an event with the approval of the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate
Students
and must be paid for with a chart string account.

13. What if I don’t need anyone to serve my event?
Events need staffing to prepare the food, set the rooms, maintain the event and clean up
the event. We are happy to provide you with alternate options to help lower the costs in some
instances and our catering team is happy to discuss the options with you.
