Creating a custom monitoring script

Some monitoring tasks can not be handled by the Distributed Monitoring facility. You can create a custom monitoring script, and include the ability to send events to the Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC). This is documented in Sending Events to Tivoli. The document is also available in MS Word format.
