On most computer types the following restrictions apply to the size of model that the interface program can handle:
Maximum number of nodes = 10,000
Maximum number of elements = no limit
Maximum number of local coordinate systems = 100
Maximum number of materials = 50
Maximum number of groups in selective stressing = 500
Maximum number of stress points in a beam = 100
In addition, there is a limit imposed by the size of the area allocated for storing information read from the PAFEC Backing Store file. Your FEMGV distributor will be able to inform you of any restriction that may apply to your installation.
