Welcome to PUP! Established in 1986, the Princeton University Players has been bringing musicals to the Princeton campus for more than twenty-five years. Today, we are proud to be one of the largest theatre groups here at Princeton, and the one and only place to see your favorite Broadway musicals gain new life on the Princeton stage.

What's new?

Interested in directing a musical next year? Seen a show that you think would be great at Princeton? Be a part of the Princeton University Players' 2014-2015 season! We want to bring your unique vision to life. Tell us all about the show you're proposing -- why you want to direct it, how you'll give it your own spin, and why you think it's important to see on this campus. Applications are due on March 24 and interviews will begin shortly afterwards, so start thinking now about the show you'd like to propose! If you have questions, want some advice for your proposal, or want to learn more, attend our Proposals Open House on Sunday, March 9 from 12-2 pm in Bloomberg 050. There will be snacks and helpful information! Stop by when you can.

Workshop Proposals:

DON'T FORGET ABOUT OUR WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY! PUP is proud to offer an opportunity for student playwrights, lyricists, and composers to workshop their original material. Original writers are still able to propose to our regular season, but we also want to provide a low-stress writing environment focused on the process of creating musical theatre. We aim to encourage budding writers to create and showcase their work, no matter what step of the writing process they are in. If you think you have a great concept for a musical, have already started working on an original piece, or have a musical fully written and ready for the workshopping, this is a great opportunity for you! Applications are due at the same time as our regular season proposals, March 24. Please direct all questions and completed proposals to Sarah Cuneo (
