Board approves four promotions

The Board of Trustees has approved the promotions of four faculty members, effective Sept. 1, 2015, except where noted.

Professor — Michael Joseph Freedman, computer science; Ekaterina Pravilova, history.

Associate professor — Shamik Dasgupta, philosophy.

Assistant professor — Melissa Lee Desfor, politics and international affairs, effective Feb. 1, 2016.
