Chelsea Kolff
Class of 2009

Chelsea has been
dancing for as long as she can remember- starting out in her playroom with a
tutu and fairy wand, then taking ballet classes starting when she was five. Chelsea began taking
tap and modern when she was 8 and then joined Lee Harper and Dancers Junior
Company, with whom she danced for 10 years. With the Company, Chelsea performed around Atlanta and had the opportunity to perform
annually with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in their Kids Holiday Concerts
at Halloween and Christmas. During the summer, she attended Bates Dance
Festival, American Dance Festival at Duke, and the ballet program at North Carolina School of the Arts twice. Chelsea performed in
various theater productions, including the show How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, of which she was the
co-choreographer. Chelsea
also taught dance at the Westminster Schools’ Summer Theatre Intensive for
the past two summers and choreographed and helped direct their annual final
show.
Chelsea has been dancing with BodyHype since her freshman fall and has loved
every minute of it. Also involved in the Princeton Dance Department,
she plans on receiving a certificate in dance in addition to majoring in
Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Chelsea
misses everyone at Lee Harper but is so excited to be a part of such an
amazing group of dancers who have been so welcoming and incredible. Thanks to
my family and friends for all their love and support.
