Proposals
We welcome all varieties of staging and updates in its productions, and actively seek out inventive locations across the Princeton campus for our productions. Past and current shows have used video screens in the Frist Campus Center, surprised the public in Palmer Square, invaded Mathey common room, and camped out in the picturesque Chancellor Green Courtyard.
We welcome novice and experienced directors, and are equally interested in tragedies, comedies, and histories. Our productions have ranged from postmodern to traditional, and our venues have included almost every theater on campus as well as several unusual sites. We usually stage four shows during the Academic Year and a show for Reunions. We offer support throughout the production process- technical ins and outs, artistic advice and critiques, publicity and press access to staging spaces, and financial support. Excellent proposals combine compelling artistic vision with well-considered technical plans.
