David Rosenthal
Class of 2007
Vice-President

David began his formal dance career the summer after sophomore year in Camden, New Jersey, where, as an intern for a minor league baseball team he assumed the game-day role of Mr. Trash, the stadium's world renowned tuxedo-clad dancing usher. While fighting through legions of rabid autograph seekers and adoring female fans (read: little kids with ketchup-smeared faces and sticky cotton candy fingers) he performed original choreography every 5th inning to the classic strains of James Brown's "Living in America". In other words, David joined the Hype a roguish miscreant with no previous dance experience. In high school he managed to keep off the streets by captaining the baseball and football teams as well as acting in school plays. At Princeton he continues to pursue those interests as a linebacker and long-snapper on the varsity Sprint Football team and actor in the Troupe de l'Atelier, a company that produces full-length plays in French on a semesterly basis. Academically, he is a major in the French Department where he is currently trying to convince his advisor of the academic merits of a thesis on champagne. He hails from West Chester, Pennsylvania where he currently resides with his mother, father, and two teddy bears. Much love goes out to the family, the 021 Crew, Dean Fred, and of course all the amazing members of BodyHype, the hottest and most wickedly fun-loving group around!
