Jennie Scholick
Class of 2009
Production Manager

Jennie, a member of the class of '09, hails from the SF Bay Area, one of the nuttiest and most beautiful places in the US. Although she entered BodyHype as a total bunhead, despite valiant efforts on the part of the Company Jennie hasn't completely managed to shed that "ballerina look" (aka, look for her in the back row of any hip-hop piece). She grew up training with former San Francisco Ballet and National Ballet of Canada principal dancers at Marin Ballet, and has attended summer programs at BalletMet Columbus, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theater, and the White Mountain Summer Dance Festival. Jennie's also created roles in works by former SFB dancers Robert Sund and Julia Adam. In high school, she danced with the Branson School's Dance Performance Ensemble, a group of six advanced dancers coached by former ODC/SF dancer Tammy Cheney. She is a member of the Princeton Program in Theater and Dance, and intends to graduate with a certificate in dance, although she still doesn't have a clue what she's concentrating in. Jennie's slightly addicted to ballet class, coffee (namely Small World), cookies (preferably the U-store chocolate chip ones), chocolate covered pretzels, CVS, mascara, and the color pink.
