|
Born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Sar Medoff first performed in the Nutcracker when he was five years old. This first performance led to fourteen years of classical ballet training at The School of Greensboro Ballet and one summer at each the Louisville Ballet and American Ballet Theatre's Alabama summer intensives. In high school, Sar was captain of the soccer team and he rode the bench for the basketball squad. When not dancing or playing sports, Sar spends his time fishing or wrestling with his five siblings. Turning down an apprenticeship with the North Carolina Dance Theatre, Sar chose to travel the world after high school, but even with this extra time, he still has no idea what he wants to major in. Other important information: Sar's favorite number is 11, his favorite color is Duke blue, and he can touch his nose with his tongue.
