Tommy Lopez ’10
When Tommy began at Princeton, he had no idea that he would ever join a dance group on campus. However, after seeing Bodyhype in their quality (sexy) shows, Tommy was encouraged to try out, and he made it (the second time at least)! Tommy comes to Bodyhype with no formal ballet and dance training, but you may have seen him busting out his awesome moves at the most exclusive clubs of Paris, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and Mexico (the Street included). Tommy hails from Corpus Christi in the great state of Texas. While he loves living at Princeton, he misses not being able to eat the tortillas and enchiladas he loves so much. When he is not rehearsing for Bodyhype, he also likes dancing to techno and Latin music. Tommy is a Woodrow Wilson School major, and aside from studying about politics and Latin America until the wee hours of the morning, you will often find him on a Saturday speaking Spanish after a long night at the Street. Tommy is just returning from a semester abroad in Chile, where he kept his dancing on point by attending several hip hop and other dance classes—he can’t wait to keep bringing his Latin flavor to the bodyhype ensemble!
