Data Management Plan Presentation
Funding agencies now require researchers to provide a data management plan (DMP) as part of their funding proposals. Developing a DMP that details the methods for collecting, organizing, storing, backing up, sharing, and archiving the research data through the project is crucial to the success of the proposal.
This one-hour presentation by PUL librarians, OIT and Research Computing staff will talk about the following topics:
- Why manage research data?
- Common data management issues
- How to write a data management plan
- Best practices for managing research data
- Resources and support on campus
This event is open to the Princeton researchers, graduate students, and grants staff. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP here.
Organized by the Academic Managers Group Research Administration Sub-Committee. Co-sponsored by Princeton University Library, Office of Information Technology, and Princeton Institute for Computational Science & Engineering.
