A Man For All Women and A Woman For All Men: Politics in Egyptian Literature
Khaled Alkhamissi is an Egyptian novelist, columnist, lecturer and cultural producer. He has published two works of fiction, Taxi and Noah¿s Arch that have given readers deep insights into Egyptian society in the last decade. Taxi, which is often said to have ¿predicted the Egyptian uprisings¿, has been translated into 30 languages. As a columnist, Alkamissi¿s articles in Egypt and abroad show a blend of his background as a political analyst and fiction writer. He is also Chairman of the Greater Cairo Public Library.
