The Playwright's Guild Presents Side Effects
To whom do we owe our lives?
Side Effects, the debut play of Abby Spare ’20, follows Aubrey, a young woman with thyroid cancer who, despite her best efforts to be self-sufficient, finds herself relying on her friends and family to get by. But when her greatest benefactor reveals himself to have ulterior motives, and her family proves incapable of dealing with her illness, Aubrey will have to decide for herself whether the side-effects are worth the treatment.
