Gauss Seminars in Criticism: Fred Moten
The Humanities Council welcomes Professor Fred Moten (NYU) who will deliver the Spring 2019 Gauss Seminar in Criticism. Moten is a poet and scholar whose work explores critical theory, black studies, and performance studies.
His visit, under the general title of “Poetics of Violence,” will comprise a public lecture on Wednesday, February 27 and a faculty seminar on Thursday, February 28.
