Hack the Drag
Hack the Drag is a weekend-long hackathon with the aim of providing a safe space for culturally relevant STEM-making and -teaching through wearable electronics and drag. Participants will design drag costumes that include programmable lights and other sensors. Groups of up to 4 participants will be guided through design iteration, circuit-making, and presentation. No prior experience in circuit-making or sewing is needed. Participants will make their creations throughout the weekend and show off the final product in a Sunday afternoon drag show. Food will be provided throughout the weekend.
Team registration has begun! More information, including RSVP can be found here.
