Othello in the Seraglio
Princeton University's Department of Near East Studies presents this uniquely powerful "coffeehouse opera." Set in the 17th century Ottoman Court, OTHELLO IN THE SERAGLIO tells an age-old story of passionate love and the murderous jealousy of the titular black eunuch. Filmed over the course of three days and presented in stunning HD. Followed by a Q&A with producer Dr. Robert Labaree and composer Dr. Mehmet Ali Sanlikol. This event is free and open to the public
