The Graduate School will be hosting a Virtual Hooding Ceremony, to honor and recognize this milestone achievement on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 4PM EST.

Graduating students who wish to participate in the Virtual Hooding Ceremony must register online using your unique username and password provided in the email you should have received the week of May 4, 2020. If you will be graduating in May but did not receive a registration email, please let us know by sending an email to gradevents@princeton.edu.

Graduating students are also invited to return to campus and be hooded in person at next year’s Hooding Ceremony in May of 2021. All graduate students who complete their degrees this year are most welcome to participate in next year’s Hooding Ceremony whether or not they participate in the virtual ceremony this year. 

The virtual ceremony will be approximately one hour in length and will include an opportunity to recognize each graduate individually. Participating graduates are encouraged to submit a photograph and words of gratitude that will be included in the ceremony. Participating graduates will also receive a gift from the Graduate School commemorating their achievement.

Although regalia is not necessary to participate in the virtual ceremony, students wishing to purchase regalia for future needs may do so my contacting princeton.shopoakhalli.com (link is external).
