Korean Romanization Workshop for Graduate Students
The target audience of this virtual workshop are graduate students who use Korean resources in papers or dissertation.
In this Zoom session, participants will have the opportunitiy to learn and practice the rules and exceptions of ALA-LC Korean romanization system, which is the standard romanization for academic publication in North America in most fields.
Please note that the workshop will be conducted in Korean, as advanced level of Korean language skills and some knowledge on the grammar are required.
It is recommended to download ALA-LC Korean romanization tables (PDF) from https://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/romanization/korean.pdf, as it will be frequently referred to during the workshop.
