Join LISD for a public lecture on "Lessons from Working across Faith Lines: What could a case study of Jewish-Muslim Relations in Boston offer our country?" with Yusufi Vali '05, Director of Immigrant Advancement for the City of Boston as part of LISD's Seminar on Global Diplomatic and Security Challenges and Program on Religion,Diplomacy, and International Relations. The event is co-sponsored by the Muslim Life Program.
Vali will share his experiences conducting inter-faith initiatives and community-driven efforts to revitalize communities. Director Vali will discuss his experiences fostering tighter bonds between the Jewish and Muslim communities in Boston. He'll share how he laid the groundwork for interfaith collaboration and what lessons other cities can learn. This talk is perfect for faith leaders, students, and individuals who hope to bridge religious divides in their communities.
