Young Alumni in Finance (JRCPPF Alumni Forum Reunions Panel I)

Join us for a lively discussion with a panel of young Princeton alumni working in the finance sector, moderated by two members of the JRCPPF Alumni Forum. The panelists will discuss trends in finance, the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the challenges of remote work over the last year. Katy Boettcher '11Katy Boettcher '11 is a Vice President at Ara and is involved with all aspects of the firm’s investment process.  Prior to joining Ara, Katy served as a Vice President at White Deer, a private equity firm focused on industrials and infrastructure, where she was responsible for origination, structuring, due diligence, execution and monitoring of investments. Prior to joining White Deer, she was an Associate in Evercore’s investment banking group.  Katy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

 

René Chalom '17René Chalom '17 is an economics Ph.D. candidate at Columbia University. Before starting his doctoral program, Rene was a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for two years. As an undergraduate, he was also an intern in the Office of the Chief Economist at the New Jersey State Treasury. Rene graduated from Princeton in 2017 with a B.A. in Economics and he is a native of West Orange, New Jersey.

 

 

 

 

Sarang Gupta '19Sarang Gupta '19 is an analyst at Briarwood Chase Management. He was previously an analyst intern at BCM as well as an intern at Westbridge Capital Partners, DMI Finance, and PayTM. He grew up in India before attending Princeton University where he graduated in 2019 with High Honors. He is a native Hindi speaker.

 

 

 

 

 

Hamza Chaudhry '19(Moderator) Hamza Chaudhry '19 is an associate consultant at Bain & Company. As the founder of the JRCPPF Alumni Forum, Hamza has long been interested in economic policy and finance issues. He graduated from Princeton in 2019 with a B.A. from the School of Policy and Public Affairs as well as a certificate in the History & Practice of Diplomacy.

 

 

 

 

 

Julia M. Zielczynska '19(Moderator) Julia M. Zielczynska '19 is currently an analyst at Cornerstone Research. One of the founding members of the JRCPPF Alumni Forum, her interest in public policy and finance grew out of an internship at Synechron, Inc. in which she managed requirements for a Deutsche Bank project related to regulatory compliance. A long-time affiliate of JRCPPF, Julia served as a Co-Chair of the Undergraduate Associates from 2017-19. She graduated from Princeton in 2019 with a B.A. (honors) in Economics.
