Happy Gall-entine's Day with PUL Preservation & Conservation
You're invited!
Come write a love letter or a note to someone special on Valentine’s Day using historical iron gall ink – made by PUL’s conservators in our Conservation Lab. Learn about iron gall ink – why it has remained a popular choice for thousands of years, the effect it has on paper as it ages, and how we treat it in the Conservation Lab. For writing inspiration, we will also have an electronic display of facsimiles of romantic correspondence from PUL’s Special Collections.
Registration is required. Please select the time slot during which you would like to visit and let us know you're coming!
