Occurring from 10am to 4:30pm, the "Institutional Neutrality and the Mission of the University" conference will consist of two public panels investigating the role and impact of the landmark Kalven Report, followed by a private, closed session where invited scholars will draft a new updated statement on institutional neutrality. Taking into account our contemporary political circumstances, this updated statement will define the critical role of the University in defending free speech.
