Princeton Energy and Climate Scholars (PECS) Open House
The High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) will host an in-person open house for Princeton graduate students interested in applying to the Princeton Energy and Climate Scholars (PECS) program in Guyot Hall, Room 100.
Students will have the opportunity to speak with program director Reed Maxwell, professor of civil and environmental engineering and the High Meadows Environmental Institute, and PECS student leadership, as well as be able to ask questions about the program and research-funding opportunities.
PECS is a two-year faculty-guided and student-governed fellowship program administered by HMEI that engages graduate students in an interdisciplinary intellectual exploration within the broad area of climate and energy. Scholars participate in informal student discussions, fellow-faculty dinners and group projects; a small research stipend is provided.
Please RSVP for the open house here or to Amber Lee, HMEI’s undergraduate/graduate program manager.
PECS applications for 2022 are open through April 1.
University programs and activities are open to all eligible participants without regard to identity or other protected characteristics. Sponsorship of an event does not constitute institutional endorsement of external speakers or views presented.
