DataDebut Workshop: Introduction to Data Science on Kaggle
DataDebut is a subteam of Data Science Club that hosts regular workshops for the Princeton student population, introducing students with a variety of experience levels to techniques and applications in data science. This event will be our first workshop of the year, a general introduction to practical data science competitions on the website Kaggle. It will consist of both a short lecture on basic data analysis and prediction methods, answering of student questions, and an interactive portion where students engage in a Kaggle competition of their own. We also plan to order boba drinks to attract more engagement and attendance from the student population, as we have done for previous workshops!
University programs and activities are open to all eligible participants without regard to identity or other protected characteristics. Sponsorship of an event does not constitute institutional endorsement of external speakers or views presented.
