James Madison Award Presentation to General Mark Milley
Since 1960, the American Whig-Cliosophic Society has bestowed its highest honor, the James Madison Award for Distinguished Public Service (JMA), upon an individual who has taken up the arduous but righteous cause of dedicating their life to the betterment of society.
We are excited to announce that the 2023 James Madison Award recipient will be General Mark Milley ‘80, the 20th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. From pushing for modernization and reforms within the Army to upholding democratic values during his tenure as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Milley has demonstrated an exemplary level of public service and integrity.
In commemoration of his distinguished career, we are honored to present the James Madison Award to him on November 12th, 2023. Please join us on this occasion to commemorate all that he has done.
