Interested in an undergraduate student joining your project next summer? Looking to share your experiences with first- and second-year students eager to dive into research? Join staff from the Office of the Graduate School and the Office of Undergraduate Research to learn about Research Match (ReMatch). ReMatch began in 2014 and connects graduate student and postdocs with excited and dedicated early career undergraduates. Mentors can be from any discipline - and we have welcome mentors from electrical engineering to english; music to molecular biology; politics to psychology; and many more. All mentors participate in 2-4 large group fall dinner events to meet undergraduates and answer their questions about research. Mentors interested in taking on a student over the summer (the student will be funded by the Office of Undergraduate Research) can stay on in the program and get to know individual undergraduates better, extending an invitation to one to pair with them for summer research. During the infosession, program administrators will provide more details about ReMatch and answer your questions.

Speakers

Sonali Majumdar, Assistant Dean for Professional Development

Caitlin Larracey, Assistant Director of the Graduate School
