Outside the Frame: What Photography Hides
Explore photography in the context of World War II and the Holocaust, showing how snapshots and more carefully staged photographs can conceal important meanings. This program will feature images from the upcoming McCarter Theater production of Here There Are Blueberries, photos by the Surrealist photographer Claude Cahun, and pictures from the photography collection of the Princeton University Art Museum. Reception follows at Art on Hulfish; can also stream the event live.
University programs and activities are open to all eligible participants without regard to identity or other protected characteristics. Sponsorship of an event does not constitute institutional endorsement of external speakers or views presented.
