Sri Lankan Independence Day Celebration
Independence Day, celebrated in February, commemorates the country's 1948 independence from British rule. It is an important day celebrated in our culture as it embodies a national identity unique to the heritage of the Sri Lankan people. The Sri Lankans at Princeton would like to invite the Princeton community to join us in celebration! We are planning to have authentic Sri Lankan food catered by Ceylonese Kitchen and music!
University programs and activities are open to all eligible participants without regard to identity or other protected characteristics. Sponsorship of an event does not constitute institutional endorsement of external speakers or views presented.
