Yes, And! Improv for Creativity, Collaboration, and Innovation
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the concept of "Yes, And!" and how STEM faculty can use this technique when collaborating with those outside their discipline. Come prepared to be active, to participate, and step out of your comfort zone. While this workshop does not focus on comedy, laughter and fun are guaranteed!
This workshop will be presented by Heather Barnes and Ellen Eishen. Eishen is the current William R. Kenan, Jr. visiting Professor for Distinguished Teaching at the Keller Center. Barnes is the founder and CEO of Improv@Work, as well as a lecturer in Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. The pair has been developing and leading improv-based workshops for students and faculty in STEM fields since 2018.
