UPDATE: Nassau Street reopens after pedestrians struck in front of campus gate

Nassau Street was closed temporarily this morning between Palmer Square and Witherspoon Street, in front of FitzRandolph Gate, as police investigated an accident in which two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle about 7:20 a.m.

The pedestrians were women attending a conference at the University. They were taken to a hospital for treatment. No further information was available.

The Princeton Police Department is handling the investigation.
