Understanding Iran's Electoral Processes and its Political Implications

This talk will explain how the Iranian electoral system works, and what is the meaning and implications of the elections of all kind that take place within the Islamic Republic since its establishment in 1979. Along the talk the electoral procedures, voting trends and participation, and more importantly the results and their impact on the political system will be discussed. The main question to address will be: Why Iranians vote?
