We invite you to a conversation between Bridget Alsdorf, Professor in the Department of Art & Archaeology, Princeton University, and Thomas Crow, Rosalie Solow Professor of Modern Art at The Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, about their recent books: Gawkers: Art and Audience in Late Nineteenth-Century France (Alsdorf, 2022); The Hidden Mod in Modern Art: London, 1957-1969 (Crow, 2020); and Restoration: The Fall of Napoleon in the Course of European Art, 1812-1820 (Crow, 2018).
