PLASA’s Self-Cariño Kits is an opportunity for Latine students and the greater university community to build their own care packages during Reading Period! We want to offer support during this busy time for students as we prepare for finals week. There will be authentic candy found all over Latin America to put in your Cariño Kits, as well as other self-care items like face masks, stress balls, and other trinkets true to our heritage. We want to make this an engaging event, giving everyone the liberty to choose their preferred items for their personal kits. However, we will have limited supplies, so make sure to get there early to have first pick! Additionally, we will only have 100 bags to hold all the items for the first 100 people that show up.
