SEYAHAT: A Musical Journey with Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol and the DÜNYA Ensemble
Please join Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol and the DÜNYA Ensemble on Tuesday, October 14 for a very special musical journey!
At this concert, Sanlıkol and DÜNYA will first perform examples of classical Ottoman/Turkish music from the 17th century, then they will include more recent examples of classical Turkish music and also perform a number of Sanlıkol’s Turkish influenced concert music and jazz compositions. The program will include Sanlıkol’s custom designed electric oud as well as his very own 3D printed digital microtonal keyboard, the SANLIKOL Renaissance 17!
