The Year That Never Was: A Trash Day Special
A concert reading of a new musical in progress. Michael R. Jackson (Book/Lyrics) and Rachel J. Peters (Music) reunite to showcase a world where Trash Day supplants Christmas as Ur-Holiday, following the presentational format of 1970s/1980s TV variety holiday specials and encompassing three additional obscure American holidays: Lazy Day, Emo Day, and Respect Your Cat Day, dreamed up and written by their students. Free; open to University community.
University programs and activities are open to all eligible participants without regard to identity or other protected characteristics. Sponsorship of an event does not constitute institutional endorsement of external speakers or views presented.
