America at 250

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, join us for “America at 250: Reconstructions,” an expert panel discussion examining how the nation has repeatedly reinvented itself—and what those moments of transformation can teach us today. The discussion brings together faculty experts across history, national security, law, race and equity, and politics. The panel will explore past and present “reconstructions,” democratic resilience, constitutional change, civil-military relations, and the enduring struggles over rights, power, and inclusion. Together, panelists will consider how historical lessons can inform policy choices and democratic governance in a deeply polarized contemporary moment.
