Author Talk and Book Signing with David Stuart (PU ’89)
David Stuart, leading scholar of the ancient Maya, shares insights from his expansive new book.
Historian and archaeologist David Stuart ’89 will discuss his new publication, "The Four Heavens: A New History of the Ancient Maya" (Princeton University Press, 2026), tracing the collapses and rebirths of Maya civilization across nearly 3,000 years. The event begins at 4 p.m. with Stuart and curator Joanne Baron in the Art of the Ancient Americas Gallery. At 5 p.m. in the Grand Hall, Stuart will deliver a lecture followed by a Q&A and book signing.
