Megan O'Rourke Book Talk
Join us for a conversation on public scholarship with Meghan O’Rourke, editor of The Yale Review and author of The Invisible Kingdom: Reimagining Chronic Illness, a 2022 National Book Award Finalist for Nonfiction. O’Rourke will discuss the health humanities, writing for audiences beyond the academy, and the making of her latest project, an anthology of poetry about illness and recovery. She will take your questions about the behind-the-scenes of these innovative projects, about publishing with trade presses and magazines, and about editing The Yale Review, a flagship magazine of public scholarship. All are welcome to this casual exchange of ideas.
This event is presented by the Princeton Writing Program’s Public Scholarship Initiative and is co-sponsored by the Princeton Humanities Initiative and the Department of English.
