Right Place, Right Time: A Panel on Research, Policy & Practice
Celebrating Women in Labor Economics
"Right Place, Right Time" is a landmark panel honoring the leadership and pioneering research of women in labor economics—highlighting how their scholarship advances more equitable labor policy and convenes a vibrant community of researchers.
Featuring remarks from Charissa Jefferson, Labor Economics Librarian and a panel discussion with Cecilia Rouse, Brookings Institution President, Princeton University Katzman-Ernst Professor in Economics and Education and Professor of Economics and Public Affairs, Ellora Derenoncourt, Assistant Professor of Economics and Founding Director of Program for Research on Inequality, and Pauline Carry, Assistant Professor of Economics and International Affairs, School of Public and International Affairs.
Recognizing Helen Baker, pioneer in the academic study of corporation policies affecting women in the workplace, and the first woman to achieve the rank of associate professor at Princeton University.
Refreshments will be served.
