Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day Celebration
Come celebrate Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day with the Canadian Graduate Student Association! Gens du pays, c’est votre tour de vous laisser parler d’amour :) on the night of the national holiday of Québec, we will have drinks and enjoy some homemade pouding chômeur together (aka. maple pudding, a uniquely québécois dessert). We will also sing some trad and folk songs together. Anything ranging from trad staples—including “La Ziguezon”, “Commençons la semaine”, and the recent viral “m’en revenant de Sainte-Hélène (Joël Legendre’s version)—to modern néo-trad favourites like “Les étoiles filantes” and “l’Amérique pleure” (and anything Les cowboys Fringants and more) is welcome! Open to all Princeton graduate students regardless of identity.
University programs and activities are open to all eligible participants without regard to identity or other protected characteristics. Sponsorship of an event does not constitute institutional endorsement of external speakers or views presented.
