Go Hasegawa is a Tokyo-based architect. He founded Go Hasegawa and Associates in 2005 after working at Taira Nishizawa Architects.
Alongside his architectural practice, Hasegawa has taught at institutions including the Tokyo Institute of Technology, the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio, the Oslo School of Architecture, UCLA and Harvard GSD. He joins the Princeton School of Architecture this fall as a visiting faculty member.
Hasegawa is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2008 Shinkenchiku Prize and his honor as one of the 2014 Architectural Record Design Vanguard architects. His work has been widely published in monographs by TOTO Publishing, a+u, El Croquis and AMAG, as well as in books such as Go Hasegawa: Conversations with European Architects and Besides, History: Go Hasegawa, Kersten Geers, David Van Severen.
In 2002, he graduated with a master of engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and received a PhD in engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2014.
