Stamp Making and Mail Art
Let’s make stamps and talk about Mail Art! Mail Art is an artistic movement developed by artists in the 1960s. It is a style of art that uses the postal service to transmit small-scale works and can include parcels inked with customized stamps. At this workshop, we’ll talk about Mail Art and its prominent practitioners, and then we’ll design and carve our own custom stamps using speedy carve rubber blocks.
This event is free and open to all Princeton University students. Registration is required and capped at 10 individuals.
