Women+ on the Edge of Democracy: New Play Readings
The Program in Theater and Music Theater presents a reading of new, short plays by women playwrights as part of the nationwide initiative, Women+ On the Edge of Democracy. A mix of professional and non-professional actors, directors and producers will share readings of 10-minute plays by such women playwrights as Lynn Nottage, Heidi Schreck, and Lauren Gunderson, among others. Organized by Lecturer in Theater Vivia Font.
The event organizers encourage audiences to wear their favorite shirts, hats, or other apparel that promote democracy.
